Utrecht

My friend Ted took me for a bike ride around Utrecht last fall. There were canals. And a cathedral. It rained. Then it didn’t. Then we drank coffee so that turned out pretty well. Also, next year the Tour de France starts in Utrecht, so you should go there. Then you can drink the coffee and see the cathedral just like I did.

Of course he took you to see the first bicycle path in the Netherlands. Great photos!

  I did not actually ride on the first bicycle path, but I did see it! Which was cool.
  
  Utrecht is a great town — for bikes and just plain living. Loved the canals, and overall vibe. It was great in the fall, too, with all the colored leaves. It’d be great to go back!
